Flute and Piano Duo
Kelsy De Prada and Rosa Hwang are a flute and piano duo who have been performing together for over a decade. Their performances present a diverse range of music with engaging stories and commentary, and previous concerts have been received well all over Victoria.
Based in south-east Victoria, Kelsy is a highly respected teacher who instructs in flute, clarinet and saxophone at a number of different schools while balancing a busy performance schedule which includes solo recitals, chamber music performances and in 2024, appearances at the National and State Band Championships.
Rosa is a piano accompanist at Wesley College (Glen Waverley) and Kilbreda College, working with their choirs and musical productions. In 2024, she started accompanying CHIME Choir Melbourne, who competed in the World Choir Games in New Zealand. Previously, she has also played piano for The Australian Ballet School, The Music Society of Victoria (Eastern branch) and the Australasian Orchestra.
