Melinda Seaw Piano & Rachel Williams Violin in French Recital

Violinist Rachel Williams and pianist Melinda Seaw have become a much loved duo by audiences far and wide. Their partnership began after returning to Australia, having both completed Master’s degrees abroad. Their music repertoire spans sensitively across composers, styles and periods, demonstrating their versatility and love for the art of chamber music.

About Melinda Seaw: 
Melinda Seaw is an accomplished pianist with a passion for chamber music performance. She is dedicated to growing as an artist and expanding her horizons by seeking out new and exciting avenues for musical expression. Melinda has performed solo and chamber music across six countries, including a featured performance of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 in celebration of his 250th anniversary. Melinda recently completed her Master’s in Piano Performance and Pedagogical Studies at the Sibelius Academy, underscoring her commitment to her craft and teaching pursuits. 

About Rachel Williams:
Rachel is a Melbourne violinist and teacher. She has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and in orchestras throughout Australia, and in parts of the US, South America and Europe. She completed her Master’s in Violin at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, USA. During her time in Pittsburgh, she performed in the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra and the Ballet Orchestra and performed regularly in an early music ensemble on the viola. Now back home in Australia, she enjoys performing, as well as educating and fostering her students' love of music.

Claude Debussy: Jeux d'eau (piano solo) 
Jean-Marie Leclair: Violin Sonata No.3 in D major 
Gabriel Fauré: Romance for Violin and Piano Op. 28 Bb major 
César Franck: Sonata in A major for Violin and Piano
