Amelia Wawrzon is a passionate vocalist enthralled by the beauty, drama and emotion of song. She is an exciting classically-trained soprano who is studying the Master of Music (Opera Performance) course at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music in 2019, straight after graduating from her Bachelor of Music (Performance) at age 20.

From a young age, her training and work with the Victorian Opera and Australian Girls Choir have produced many performance highlights, including the world premiere season of “The Magic Pudding” (Victorian Opera), the QANTAS “I Still Call Australia Home” Ad campaign, Hugh Jackman’s “Broadway to Oz” Arena Tour, Vision Australia's Carols by Candlelight, and performing as a soloist at the MCG Boxing Day Test in 2015.

Amelia sang the role of Miss Wordsworth in the MCM Masters of Opera production of Albert Herring in March/April 2019. In 2018, she performed her full-scale operatic debut as Sister Constance in the VCA and MCM’s production of Dialogues des Carmélites. Other recent performance highlights include as a soloist in Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater and as a soloist at White Night Melbourne 2018 on the balcony of the Melbourne Town Hall.

Amelia recently undertook an international study exchange at Royal Holloway University of London and is excited by the prospect of more international study and performance in the future.

Sue Goessling is well known to Melbourne audiences as a recital pianist, as an accompanist for an enormously wide variety of concert-work and as a rehearsal repetiteur both for opera productions and choral works.

Sue regularly performs with OzOpera Schools Company at Opera Australia.

Everyone is welcome to join us for their beautiful Lunchtime Recital at St Peter's.
